Cool, clean and casual, Nikasha Tawadey’s creations have a distinctive Indian flavour. Since it’s inception in 2006, Nikasha has successfully carved a niche for itself in India haute couture. The outfits celebrate India’s close relationships with hand crafted ornamentation techniques and the designer’s vision of making fashion part of a circular economy. The label has seen its seasonal lines being showcased at national and international fashion shows. The womenswear range includes sarees, kurta sets, sharara sets, indo-western outfits and more. The designer also offers a range of accessories including scarves, clutch bags, earrings, chokers and bangles.

Nikasha Tawadey began her career as a psychoanalyst. But soon, her love for fashion overrode everything else. She tried her hand at fashion design and was invited to showcase and retail her outfits at Selfridges in London. After launching the Nikasha label, she became the only designer to retail her creations at Macy’s in San Francisco. Over the years, she has launched several seasonal collections at prestigious platforms like the Lakme India Fashion Week, Coterie New York and Shanghai Fashion Week. With her base split between New Delhi and Singapore, she focuses not just on aesthetics but also on creating a sustainable ecosystem.
